COPPER SINK QUALITY: Our high quality copper sinks are lead free and have a chemical composition of 99.9% pure copper.
SINK FINISH: Our copper sinks have a coffee coloured patina, which is created at the time of manufacture. The patina protects the sink and helps to prevent the copper from changing colour. It is a chemically induced oxidisation process so the sink already has a “darkened” copper appearance.
SINK THICKNESS: The gauge is the thickness of the copper. It is important to remember that the lower the gauge, the thicker the copper. All of our copper sinks are 16 gauge, which is 1.5mm thick. These extra thick sinks do a great job of resisting dents, and quietening water flow.
SINK WASTE: Unlike other companies, The Stone Super Store provides the necessary Australian Standard stainless steel 114mm waste with every compatible sink purchase. We also sell a range of copper sink wastes for those who prefer the matching colour sink waste.
SINK WARRANTY: Rest assured you have purchased a quality product when buying a sink from The Stone Super Store. However for ultimate peace of mind we offer our customers a limited lifetime warranty on all copper sink purchases.
SINK CARE: Category = Moderate care
Wash the sink down with hot soapy water. Do not use bleach or acid products on the sink. Green scourers such as “Scotch-Brite” can be used on the surface; however do not use any silver coloured stainless steel scourers. A dry sink can be wiped down during routine cleaning with a bees wax or silicon based product (such as Mr Sheen) to keep it looking fresh.
